Halsey Announces Pregnancy!

     Ashley Frangipane, better known as Halsey, announce her pregnancy on Instagram, January 27, 2021. As someone who has listened to her since her first studio album "Badlands," it's exciting to see her begin her family.

    This announcement is even more exciting, due to the fact that this baby will be her rainbow baby. A rainbow baby is a baby that is born healthy after parents experience the loss of a previous pregnancy due to miscarriage, or any other type of pregnancy loss. Halsey captioned her Instagram post with "surprise🍼🌈👼." and later tweeted "my rainbow🌈" 

    Halsey has been open with her reproductive health status. She as spoken about her struggles with endometriosis, and her previous miscarriage in 2015, right before a show on the "Badlands Tour." Despite suffering a miscarriage directly before a show, she still performed.

    In other big news about Halsey, she announced a new cosmetics company called "About-Face." According to the website, About-Face is "Multi-dimensional makeup for everyone, everywhere. Created by Ashley Frangipane a.k.a Halsey. Inspired by and for our diverse and artistic community, we create makeup made with integrity and intention for all stages of life." Preorder for "About-Face" was available as of January 4, 2021.

    As a fan of Halsey since 2015, I'm very excited to see what her future holds in her personal and professional life, and I hope to try her makeup line at some point.
