The Art of Social Media - The Final Chapters
It's hard to believe that our class is already done reading our first book. This semester is flying by! I feel like I have learned a lot in such a short amount of time, and "The Art of Social Media" helped with that in a huge way. Before this book, I didn't know that adding a "." before the "@" sign in a tweet could totally change who could see it. Reading this book has also changed the way that I post on my own social media, and how I interact with business accounts. I've also learned how to use platforms that I'm not as familiar with, like LinkedIn.
In the final chapters of "The Art of Social Media," Guy Kawasaki outlines how to optimize social media platform by platform, and neatly summarizes the highlights of the book. I absolutely recommend this book! It's an easy read, short and sweet and it gets straight to the points of interest. I will definitely hold on to this book for future reference. Here's to the start to a new chapter (or book)!
It does not seem like we should already be done with such a great book! I have also learned a lot from this book and will continue to use the information in the future. It is nice to see someone had a direct impact after reading this book the same way I did. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to read this book in the future, especially since it made such an impact on your own approach to social media. I love learning about the ins and outs of social media and what approaches/techniques are most successful for each platform. So, this book is right up my alley!
