The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards
Last night the 63rd annual Grammy Awards aired on CBS. There has been a lot of buzz about the Grammys since the nominations were announced. From the making of history, to potential academy snubs, The Grammys is one of the biggest events in music. Here are some of my personal highlights.
- Harry Styles opens the Grammys with his Grammy nominated song "Watermelon Sugar," followed by performances from Billie Eilish and Haim.
- Beyoncé makes history with her 28th Grammy win, making her the most awarded woman in history.
- Taylor Swift makes history with being the first woman to win album of the year three times.
- Harry Styles wins his first Grammy for best pop solo performance for "Watermelon Sugar."
- Billie Eilish walks away with two Grammys.
- Megan Thee Stallion walks away with three Grammys.
- H.E.R. takes home a Grammy for song of the year "I Can't Breathe."
These are just a handful of the amazing things that happened at this year's Grammy Awards Ceremony. You can check out the full list of Grammy winners and nominees here.
Unfortunately, I missed out on the Grammys this year. However, I heard there were some really good performances, a few of which you highlighted! Hopefully I'll be able to tune in next year.
