Day Off Diaries 3 (Finale)

Welcome to the final installment of my miniseries "Day Off  Diaries."

This past Friday was the final day off until the end of our semester. It was particularly nice to have a day off on a Friday rather than in the middle of the week. My Friday was pretty quiet and uneventful (no complaints). I went grocery shopping, then went home and watched "Bones" with my mom for the rest of the day. If you want to watch "Bones," all seasons are on Hulu (10/10 recommend)! Anyway, I'm not even kidding when I say I watched "Bones" all day... my mom and I ended up going through 1.5 seasons throughout this entire weekend (and the seasons are long).  Definitely a bit excessive, but I think it was much needed to decompress. Besides that, I can't say I did much. It had been over a month since I had been home, which is odd for me since I live relatively close, so it was really nice to see my cats and be able to spend time with my family, rather than just seeing them in passing.

It is crazy that the final day off for the semester has come and gone already. This semester has flown by. I hope you all had a wonderful "break" and holiday if you celebrate! We have a month left of this semester, you've got this, I believe in you! :)

  1. Thank you for sharing! It is crazy to think that this is our last day off for the year. This semester has went so fast in my opinion. I have never watched Bones, but I will be sure to check it out! The semester is almost over, I believe in you too!

  2. Thanks for sharing your day! Sometimes sitting around with family and watching TV is exactly what we need to relax. Since we're constantly doing assignments it feels lazy, but doing something that requires no effort seems to help with burnout. I'll be sure to look into Bones!

  3. Decompressing and doing absolutely nothing is sometimes the best way to spend breaks. As a lover of Netflix, I definitely know how addicting it can be to get through a full season (or two) of a show. While I haven't seen Bones, I can only imagine how long it must take to get through. Thanks for sharing!

  4. I honestly believe that what society deems as "lazy" is actually necessary to prevent us from burning out. I've heard of Bones but never looked into it, but I definitely will after this because it sounds addicting. This series has been really fun to follow so thanks for sharing!
