Summer Series: Part 2
This was the second time that the five of us had been to PCB together, the last time was in 2019. The drive there and back was around 15+ hours, which sounds awful, but honestly, some of the best and funniest memories were made in the van.
When we got there, we of course checked in to our hotel and got everything out of the van, then we hit the beach. This beach is the most beautiful beach I've ever been to (not that I've been to many, ha-ha). The sand is pure white and extremely soft, and the water is such a beautiful blue. After the beach, we played our first of many rounds of miniature golf.
After our first beach day, we all decided to go shopping at Pier Park. After we were all done shopping, which didn't take very long, we spent the rest of the afternoon at Dave and Busters to escape the heat. Once we ran out of game tickets, we grabbed dinner, then played mini golf.
The next day my friend Cheyenne and I went to the beach for a little while, then we had a drink by the pool. Later that night, we got dinner, then played yet another round of mini golf, of course.
On our last day, we got lunch at Margaritaville. Despite the name, I did not get a margarita. Instead, I opted for a "Bama Breeze." After that, we all decided to take a nap, since we had a long drive ahead. Once we all woke up, we decided to play one more round of mini golf, then headed back to Ohio. You'd think after all these rounds of mini golf I'd be good at it, but that couldn't be further from the truth.
I'm so thankful to have Cheyenne as a friend. We've been friends since second grade, so we are basically sisters in our eyes. It's been so fun to go on all our adventures together, and I can't wait to see what we do next!
Your trip sounds so fun! It is an amazing thing to have a friend so close to you that you view each other as siblings. Can't wait to hear about the next trip :)
