A Simple Weekend
Typical of most of my weekends, I didn't do a whole lot. I tried to work on some assignments, but that ended up not working in my favor, like usual.
Friday, my roommate Jasmyn and I picked up some sushi from Yamato in Lima and got some boba tea from the Asian American Student Union's origami night. I got a Mango Tango smoothie (which was so good) and Jasmyn got a brown sugar black milk tea. While we ate, we watched the new CNCO music video "Cinturita" from their collaboration with Reggi El Autentico.
Saturday, I had full intentions to work on an assignment for another class that was due the next day... 5 p.m. came and went, and I still had not written a single sentence. Instead of trying any longer, Jasmyn made conchas, (which is a Mexican pan dulce, or sweet bread) and I helped a little.
Sunday, I headed home and visited my mom and stepdad. The main reason for my visit was to switch back cars with my stepdad, since my car was done at the shop, but I really loved visiting my parents. Once I got back to Ada, it was crunch time. I hadn't done a thing on my assignment, and it was due at midnight. Thankfully, I got it done by midnight and all was well.
I hope you enjoyed this little blip from my life, I hope you all had a good weekend and did something to treat yourselves.
